There's been many posts regarding Vista and the 1.2 version: no *my file*, how to find *player files*, making desktop *shortcuts* etc. So I hope these posts helps anyone having any of these problems.
Please note that there are a total of 15 different posts, each one contains the next step.
There also is a shortcut to all of this, which seems to work for some and not for others. So first I will give you the shortcut to FINDING your *player folder & my file*.
FIRST *attempt* a search for the term *pointsmap* (minus the *'s), IF the search works for you, you will find the exact same path laid out in the following step.
If the search option does NOT find your player files, continue with the next steps.
IF you are running both 1.2 AND 1.3 versions, this will also make it simple for you to *move players* back and forth between the two version.
