Fi -- Went in this morning to launch, everything was going fine. Launches were bumping to 10,000, was able to pull in Monica's layouts, all at 10,000 then after about 70 launches everything in my game dropped to 500. I didn't go any further. Backed out of game, disconnected internet and reopened game offline, everything at 500. Went back to my *back up* player from yesterday ... OFFLINE ... pulled in the my file that I had just launched and it all showed 10,000. I can go online with this player file and no problem ... AS LONG AS I DON'T ATTEMPT TO LAUNCH OR ADD ANYONE ELSES WHILE ONLINE. I can play offline, go online to upload pts & times, but as soon as I attempt to launch or download a layout online, everything drops back to 500. Afraid to go back and attempt to launch or download anyones layouts now as it will only mess up the files I have now and I'm tired of re-doing layouts to get my pts back where they were Going to email you over this one Fi Connie

Hi Connie, yesterday went well, the bumper. All were LO to 10,000 points. Today, all LO to 500 points. I think that the server at BigFish is not yet in order. It has nothing to do with our games, but only to the server. that it my opinion. I am inconsolable that the repair of the server on such a long period. That is not good. That is no fun!!!!! Dear greetings an hugs

Ok folks ... I sent my player folders to Fi ... 3 to be exact, although all the same name. 2 of them (back ups from this am) downloaded layouts at 500, launched at 2500, then after 10 bumps dropped back to 500 pts. 1 of the player folders was *still good* and working properly These are all 3 the same player name, 1 that worked was a back up from yesterday, 2 that did not work properly were from this morning. I can't say exactly what all Fi did, although I'm sure she will be posting here also. I do know when she attempted to launch or grab layouts under the *bad* player file, everything dropped to 500, same as it did for me. HOWEVER, the ONE player folder, backed up yesterday, works on and offline properly. So we NOW know for sure it is NOT BFG or their servers ... something is causing OUR files to become corrupt. I had sent out an email as soon as points dropped on my player this morning. Unfortunately Margriet did not get my email soon enough, and although she had not launched, she HAD attempted to pull another players layouts in and bump them from the launch page. She has now had to back up 2 days to get a working player, as she had forgotten to back up the last 2 days. I think we are all starting to get a little slacky on IMMEDIATE BACK UPS when we see things running smoothly even for a day. BFG got back up and running and everyone was able to launch so we all thought everything was fine. WHATEVER the problem is, that some, not all players are having has NOTHING to do with BFG OR their servers. Granted it's everyone's choice to decide how they choose to deal with this. As for me ... I intend on backing up after EVERY folder I've played, irregardless of whether I've uploaded the times & pts or not. I also intend to not only date them, but also place the exact time on each back up. I'm going to make a separate folder each time I back up and inside that folder will be my *back up* file along with the layouts I played. The next folder will have a different *back up* file, with a different time on it, along with the files I have played for that *back up*. I will also make a back up prior to AND AFTER each time I launch. This way if I lose anything I will only have to go back to the LAST back up folder and replay those files. I'm still lost as to what's corrupting them ... I've sent a possibility question to Fi after she *cloned* my name this morning and will wait and see what her thoughts are on this. She has all 3 of my recent back ups and has full permission to rip them apart in anyway she sees possible to try to get us an answer to this problem. IF by chance my player names gets lost in this process, I've already told Fi to go for it and not to worry. If it resolves this problem, then I'm willing to start over with another name if need be. Special 's to Fi for helping me this morning and still willing to help resolve this problem. to all Connie Modified ... Giesela I think we just crossed in posting

It has nothing to do with our games, but only to the server. that it my opinion. I am inconsolable that the repair of the server on such a long period. That is not good. That is no fun!!!!! Dear greetings an hugs Sorry to hear this has happened to you also Gies I, through the help of Fi, was able to go back to my *back up* from yesterday morning and have no problems with it. It grabs them at 10k, launches at 2500 & at 10 bumps = 10,000pts. If you have a recent back up, go back to it Gies...that was the answer for me, same as it was when this happened before. Those that still have an OFFLINE working player, which will play the layouts at 10k/30k verses the 500 ... if you do not want to attempt to go online but would like to continue playing OFFLINE, message me via this forum with your email address. I will launch as long as my player permits and continue sending them to those that wish to play offline. Plz note ... ALL names and emails that I share layouts with are kept STRICTLY confidential ... I do NOT reveal anyone's name that I share with, nor do I release ANYONE's email address. I can't promise the same thing won't happen to my player at any given moment, but I'm more than willing to repay for those that sent me numerous offlines to play when BFG was completely down. Connie

Hi dear Connie, That is a huge Crash. I wanted to play off-line because there is no LO with 10,000 points on the server from BigFish come. But all of my saved games are suddenly up to 500 points.!!! So I can not play offline. This is an emergency! Nothing works anymore! Sorry, but I'm angry! Connie, I also had from you LO with 10,000 points on my PC, I wanted to play off-line. Again, this LO today were all on 500 points with off-line. How can that be? Giesi

Glad to hear that Giesela KEEP BACKING UP AND SAVE ALL OF YOUR BACK UP FOLDERS at least for now. Eventually we all should be able to go back to just hanging on to the last few back ups. THIS is why Fi and I are saying it isn't BFG or their servers Geis. IF it were then we would not be able to use a previous file and have it work. They would ALL fail and give us only 500 pts. And actually, yes there ARE layouts at 10,000 on the layout page. Your *corrupted* file just would not read them as 10,000. I do want to add this though ... IF you go to the layout page to download any layouts BE VERY CAREFUL AND HAVE YOUR PLAYER BACKED UP. Once you fall down to seeing only 500 point layouts the ONLY answer is to go back to your back up player. So KEEP backing up!! to you dear Connie

Here we go again! I tried a back-up file, and it worked long enough for me to download Connie's lo's. I backed out, went back in, and lo and behold, they were all 500 points. I contacted BFG's Live Chat, and of course, the problem could not be with them ( the usual response). I was offered a free game since sometimes certain games just will not play on your computer. I assured him I have been playing this game for over 4 years, so don't think that's the problem. His only suggestion was to uninstall and re-install. Can't see the point if it's just going to get corrupted again. Think I'll give it a day and see what happens.

All makes sense to me Fi ... no queries or concerns here Course I DID grab from the launch screen and they held at 10,000, even when launching at same time. I've not attempted to launch with the player folder you sent back to me yet; however, I DID play a few offlines, went online just to upload the pts, then back offline and they still pulled in at 10,000 pts. Sooo ... looks like WE are set to go. I'm with you though on advising them not to grab from the launch screen, seems if you are unsure of what to do if/when they drop to 500, then you are *bleeped*. thanx for everything Fi ... think I'm set to go from here on out. Karma Hug to ya dear. NOW GO TO SLEEP Connie

I have just received an e-mail from BFG chat, and they say they now see the problem I am having, and there will soon be a Fix for it, which he will e-mail to me as soon as it is ready. They are paying attention.

OK I am really confuse. I got some LOs today, to play for the "Artsy & Kewl!" thread. I downloaded them, played for awhile, then got off MTE. When I went back, all of them was 500 points. But when I check a few minutes ago, the points were all back up. Does this make sense to anyone? Should I go offline to play them?

Not much about this game has made sense this week Judy. I would think if the points show what they should, then play them.

Great Ann because this is getting to be very frustrating. Please let us know what the solution is so that we can also fix our files.... I am getting tired of losing, saving, backing up and starting over and over again.
