Hi All, Have heard back from Bfg Customer Support & this was thr response - Subject Offensive & Threatening Layouts Discussion Details Response (, Seattle) 09/09/2008 04:54 PM Hi Fiona, Thank you for your e-mail. I'm sorry for any inconvenience and confusion in regards to the Mahjong Towers Eternity custom layouts . My name is , I'll be happy to assist you. I do understand if custom layouts have offended you in any way, and I am sorry about that. I have informed our game operations department regarding this matter. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am most happy to help as best as I can. Thanks and have great day. Best regards, Customer Support In my view this did little about anything, so i have since replied with the following - 12.9.2008 Hi T, Thank you very much for your response to the incident i reported. I am however concerned as to what will be done in relation to the below layouts & any future layouts of this nature?? Which were launched exactly as follows - Layouts dated 29 August 2008 - (Lo titles were sent) Then while launching for another player yesterday to help her make it to the 90th star the two following layouts appeared directed at the player who was going for 90* - Layouts dated - 10 Sept 2008 - (Lo titles were sent) This game is a Family Game & if you make a layout with 1 tile out of place it picks up on it very quickly with the response - "This layout dosen't meet Mahjong Towers Eternity playability standards" & this message can appear on a random 1 layer 48 tile layout, yet it dosn't pick up any of the above naming of layouts ? I have big questions relating to that & wonder when the 'Report To Moderator' button is used to report such layouts - Where?? & Who?? monitors the reported layouts to see that they are removed from the site?? & Why?? they don't get removed?? Any help you can offer in this area would be very much appreciated & i look forward to your response Regards Fiona Will let you know of any updates (LOL Marilyn, yr funny wee man appeared in all me ? marks - Nice touch!! )

Thanks for the update Fiona! Karma Hug to you! the man is created by typing 3 ? marks in a row, that is the keyboard shortcut to it. So if you type 3 ? marks in a row, he automatically shows up.

That seems like a typical response from BFG - Useless. Keep at it Fiona

WWOOOWWW....This was a Super Duper speedy response & very enlightening i must say - Response (, Seattle) 09/12/2008 09:44 AM Thanks for getting back to me Fiona, I am really sorry about what you've experienced, and just to let you know, we do not know who moderates the layouts or sites, which appears to be live chat sessions. Reporting these to the moderators is a good idea, but the best thing at this point would be to avoid any of the custom layouts created by other users you find to be offensive. Again, I do apologize for that. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am most happy to help you as best as I can. Thanks for time Fiona. Have a great day. Kindest regards, Customer Support OK...That tells me alot but at least its an answer!! So i have been back to the BFG Site & have posted in thr Mahjong Towers Eternity Forum (yes..thr are moderators in thr) & i have included in my posts the original complaint, the above reply i sent to the first response & have included this - Re:Where?? Who?? & Why?? [Post New]by Spazzazz on Sep 12, 08 5:55 PM I have since heard back with the following - (most important part of reply) I am really sorry about what you've experienced, and just to let you know, we do not know who moderates the layouts or sites, which appears to be live chat sessions. Reporting these to the moderators is a good idea, but the best thing at this point would be to avoid any of the custom layouts created by other users you find to be offensive. Again, I do apologize for that. Well that explains a lot!!! My next question is here in this forum for a moderator - Excuse Me??!!!! What is the point of having a 'Report To Moderator' button in the game if NO ONE is at the other end moderating the layouts &/or sites?? Are you guys not Moderators? ? Then who is?? & who can i get in touch with to get answers to my questions?? Will post any updates as they come to hand

You have my support as well Fiona. But with the nuber of players in this game, we will need 100s of voices, not dozens.

Hi Fiona! First of all I have to thank you for all the work and fights you do against such terrible offensive player who act like psychopaths. Thank God I never experienced this with one of my players until now but I surely support you fully!! Gosh what a pitty! Keep up the good work, Fiona as far as I saw you didn't get a REAL efficient answer from BFG until now. I do hope many more people do not let this things happen to them in this nice family game MTE and answer to this petittion! Anyhow I admire you for your effort in this matter (karmahug to you) and I support you fully! Love and hugs - Trixi:) Trixi - trixko:) - Bavaria/Germany

I got this on the 19th from BFG:
Hi Marilyn,
I have looked over MTE Helpful Hugs and I am in agreement with a lot of what your users are asking for. I took some time to view the layouts created one of the worst offenders and I believe that there should be a better way to block that type of content. I have contacted McKell and I know that he is working on a solution to this problem.
I will keep you posted as soon as I hear anything.
Thanks! Aaron
