HOW TO COPY/PASTE LO'S INTO YOUR FAV LIST: The keyboard shortcut is the only way it works in the game. The mouse method won't work. So, with your mouse, gently highlight the LO name from the LO launch screen, with your keyboard, use "control C" keys to copy the LO name, then go to your game, and in your fav list open the "find by name" and using the keyboard use "control V" keys to paste the LO name into your game, and voila, there is the LO for you to DL. I find it alot faster than grabbing by player name when they are launching fast and getting played fast so you have to get it on the 8th or 9th bump. Sometimes if there are extra spaces in the LO name itself, it will not DL unless you figure out where the extra space(s) are. Have Fun grabbing the layouts!

Wow, thanks - I never knew you could do that! When I saw soeone launching and wanted their layout(s), I always just did a "find a player", typed their name in, and then did a "view layouts" - but I am certainly going to try this other method! Cool!

GREAT TW! I actually don't like to type so I copy / paste as much as possible. I've always used the keyboard shortcuts anyway, so makes it easier for me to grab LOs that way. I'm glad it will help you!

Hi, Marilyn,
When you say to go to your favorites and open the 'find by name' exactly what are you talking about?

Hi Katie! When you click on " Get More Loayouts" on your MY Favorites list, at the very bottom is the " Find By Name" click on that and that is where you copy/paste the LO name into your game. Remember to use the keyboard shortcuts described above for the copy/paste! Good Luck!! Let us know how you do!!!

Marilyn, I found the 'find by name' but I can't paste the layout. I go into my favorites, click on find other layouts and then find by name, highlight the name of the layout I want to copy on the layout page, use the ctrl/ c keys then go back to find by name, do the ctrl/v keys but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, that's the page. I place my mouse over the layout name to highlight it, copy/paste using keyboard and nothing happens. I can enter the layouts by name, except if the layout has words, and be able to download it. I tried keying a few that had words and was told each time the layout couldn't be found. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the copy/paste way but at least I can key most of the names in. Now I don't miss as many layouts because they don't show up to be downloaded. Karma hug to you.

I'm sorry it is not working for you Katie! You highlight the LO from the LO launch page and copy Then go to your game, open the find by name and using the keyboard Paste the LO into where it says Enter Layout Name. What happens when you do this? Could there be something wrong with your keyboard? Sometimes I have to copy the LO a few times before my keyboard will recognize that it has something newer to paste. I hope it end up working out for you. Karma hug for your troubles!

H, Marilyn, it could be my keyboard but it's probably just me. Anyway, I can type in the name of the layout and get most of them. That has really come in handy. I've been able to get the layouts before they every showed up in the download area. Before I knew how to do this, I missed out on a lot of layouts that didn't show up so before someone had played them. Thanks for your help! Karma hug for you.

Thanks for the Karma Hug Katie, here's one back at cha. If you have another keyboard in your home or know of one you could borrow, you could switch keyboards and try it again and that way you would know if it is in fact the key board, or I'm missing giving you some instruction somewhere. I'm glad you can type the LO names in at least, and by watching the Launch screen you can grab them at the higher point value. Let us know if the mystery is ever solved. I hope it starts to work for you! Now here's that Karma Hug I promised you!!

Hey Katie!! Tia mentioned to me that no where in my instructions do I say to actually "click' in the "Enter Layout Name" box in the game when you are trying to paste. Could that possibly be it??? I'm going to PM and email you this post just in case that is it! Crossing my fingers here!! Karma Hug to Tia for pointing that out to me, I'll add it to the instructions. ANYONE is WELCOME to tweek my instructions, I do not get insulted, I am HAPPY to have them improved.

Hi, Marilyn, yes, I do click in the find by name area after I've copied the title and nothing happens. I've done this so many times and got nothing that I've given up and just key the name in. Sometimes it tells me the name can't be found but I still get most of the layouts that have not shown up to be downloaded. The ones that I can't get are the one's with words or symbols in the title even when keyed exactly. But last night I was even able to download some with words in the title. A big Karma hug from me to you for your patience with someone who still can't guite get it right.

Well Shoot Katie! I was hoping that was it. Perhaps try the swaping out of keyboards idea and see if that helps and then at least you will know if it is the keyboard. I don't think this will make any difference... But, do you have Vista? The same method works for Vista users too tho. Karma hugs for your stick with-in-ness.

Hi, Marilyn, I have Windows XP and I have a Logitech keyboard. I don't have an extra keyboard but I'll get one from somewhere just to see if that's the problem. Anyway, the keying in works unless more than two are launching, then it's a scramble to get the layouts.
