HOW TO BUMP LAYOUTS: version 1.2 is the only way to go. If you have a version of MTE that doesn't not allow you to "bump" quickly, you can still get version 1.2 of the game at Pogo.com Link: download-games.pogo.com/deluxe.aspx?code=110501623INSTRUCTIONS after you have version 1.2: Make your layout Name it and share You will get msg that it is now shared. To get 10,00 points do the following 10 times play hint back no (answer to window pop up asking if you want to save game) Have a great day!

I never knew you could use the hint button and have been using the shuffle. This is so much faster. I thought you had to wait 30 seconds if the hint button was used. This is going to make bumping faster and easier on my arm. Thank you!

WOW Barb Ann! Glad to see you back today!! ;D You are already soooooooo fast at bumping and that was using the Shuffle button!? You are going to be even more super duper lightening fast (if that is possible, you are so fast!) zooming around launching those LOs with the Hint Button!

If you have the Yahoo 1.3 version of the game, as far as I know, you can bump with that version but you DO have to use the shuffle key instead of the Hint key. I've never had the Yahoo version, but that is what I have heard.

Hi! You might also want to mention here that if you get the 1.2 version that is still available from Pogo -it will cost you $19.95, while the BFG verson 1.3 is around $7.99 (or $6.99 if a club member). You can still bump in 1.3 - but unless you have the Yahoo version, it takes 5 minutes per layout to bump. You have to play, wait 30 seconds, shuffle, back out, etc. ten tmes. Another alternative is to ask someone who does have 1.2 if they will bump your layouts for you. You would have to arrange for this ahead of time, don't forget! If you do this, you have to remember to drop your layout out of your favorite list once you share it, watch the launch screen and when they have bumped it for you 10 times, then re-grab it and put it back in your favorites at 10,000 points.

How do I know if my version of Mahjong Towers is a 1.2 or a 1.3. I purchased this game at a Sam's Club two years ago. I looked on the disk and the cover box, which gave me no useful info at all as to the version. Many thanks

Hi tennlady! What you do is open your game to the page where the buttons for player, messages, start, etc, are and up in the top left corner is a little question mark... click on that and you will see game hints and down in the bottom right hand corner will be the game version. Hope that helps! Karma hug for you!

THANKYOU TIA !! I JUST FOUND OUT I HAVE 1.3 VERSION. NOW MY OTHER QUESTION IS SOMETIMES THERE ARE SOME PUZZLES THAT ONLY HAVE 18 OR 20 TILES. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? I THOUGHT IT WAS A MUST THAT THERE HAS TO BE 42 TILES.? THANKS FOR THE KARMA HUGS !!!

Hi Sandy! The minumum tile size is 42. If you look at the date of those smaller LOs, they sould be pretty old. If some are dated recently, then I don't know how they snuck through the game cracks, but anything is possible probably. ;D If you bought your game through BFG I have a link that you may be able to use for version 1.2 or you can still buy 1.2 at pogo.com and then you will be able to bump your LOs more quickly. Let me know if I can help. Hugs to ya!

Marilyn , Barb Ann gave me this site via E-mail and I am ready to get started bumping. I have no idea if I have i.2, or a version that will bump. I downloaded and bought it from Big Fish. I will get off here and see. I am "gong ho jo" on thr game Marjhon. I am so happy to get this info. I just happened to have the nerve to ask a question during a game. I'll let everyone know if I learn the method. Bye for now, Terri (gung ho jo)

Hi Terriann! to the forum. So glad you joined and posted your question. In order to see what version of the game you have, go to the ? mark in the upper left hand corner of the game and it will tell you what version you have. You will find the version in the lower right hand corner of the game tips that pop open when you click on that ? mark. If you just bought the game, then you will have version 1.3 and it will take you a long time to bump your layouts. pogo.com still sells version 1.2 the last time I looked. Also, there is a link to version 1.2 that you can download and put your player file into. With the new game console that BFG has, you do not get an actual activation code I do not think, but sometimes, just the transferring of the player file into the downloaded 1.2 version will be enough without the need of the activation code. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. And again, welcome to the forum. Here is a Karma Hug for asking the question. You'll be getting some welcome from other members in the Welcome section above if you'd care to check that out. Hugs to you and hang in there.
