When you go into the game press options to show there are three modes of play
-Classic -Speed -Concentration
Classic and speed are used for the larger layouts. Classic mode shows all the tiles and speed mode shows only open, available matches. The point value is at whatever value the layout is.
Concentration mode triples the point value.
The game will double points at random or if left open for awhile you will get multiple layouts at double the point value.

I used to send messages as well, and I got a few thank you/s But it only took one players negative response to stop me from being helpful.

Yes, classic mode shows all the tiles and speed mode shows only open, available matches. The wonderful secret Barb Ann shared about leaving the game open and it building up "Daily Doubles" really works! I discovered this by accident one day when I forgot to shut down my game and left it open for several hours while I slept. I thought it was something strange with my game but have been told by others that they do this all the time to build up some "free" daily doubles!! I have also been told it will build up maybe one an hour but sometimes it seems like more! Anyone know for sure? Thank you all for this wonderful information.. I know it will help so many players!

Tia, I have also left my computer on all night, with the game left open - and when I came to play in the morning, I had six in a row daily doubles and the first few layouts played after that, I got another two daily doubles. So within about 20 minutes of play, I had a total of 8 daily doubles. I have also noticed for shorter periods away, like when I go to lunch or the store or watch TV, anything, if I leave the game on and come back, yes, it will definitely have dailiy doubles built up - though I don't have a clue as to how many per hour, etc. This appears to be true, as well, for playing off line, you can still get daily doubles built up, though it seems not as fast. Just remember not to "waste" those dailiy doubles playing a low-point layout - save them for the higher point LOs! ;D

If I download a heap of games I don't turn my computer off (we have highspeed) then I go to bed and sometimes it may be 24 hrs or later. One day I had 14 daily double on triple play. I don't know if it is good for the puter or not but it boosted my points.....Nikkii
