Game freezes can occur if you do not clear out your "temp" files regularly - and mte temp files take up lots of disc space. I have found the best programme to use is Revo Uninstaller. (freeware) www.revouninstaller.com/It is more thorough than ccleaner, which is the programme I use for clearing out temporary internet files, cookies and browsing history. www.ccleaner.com/also free  |

 Maddy for posting about cleaning out the temp files! It really does help to speed up the game! I've used ccleaner, run it almost daily, but I've never tried the other program so will give that one a try too. Thanks again! Another Karma Hug for you! |

 Thanks for the info Maddy... I know it will be ever-so-helpful. Marilyn introduced me to c-cleaner last year and I run it everyday but I am also going to try this new one!! |

I would like to clarify the distinction between Revo Uninstaller and Ccleaner. Revo is primarily for uninstalling unwanted/unused programmes. It is better to use than the inbuilt uninstall facility in Windows because it guides you through cleaning up leftover registry entries.
It also has on the menu a Tools facility which includes a junk files clean up. This ONLY CLEANS OUT TEMPORARY SYSTEM FILES CREATED WHEN USING SYSTEM PROGRAMMES, INCLUDING MTE TEMP FILES ( all beginning with AA). IF YOU TELL IT TO IT DOES NOT TOUCH TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES OR COOKIES OR BROWSING HISTORY.
Ccleaner also cleans out both sets of temporary files - but if you look at the temp system files - you will not see that many with the AA at the beginning.
If you don't want to clean out all your cookie files because of saving passwords etc - then use the options to exclude these.

 Note - you have to run the Analyze Cookies alone - then choose Options - then move the cookies you want to exclude over to the Keep column. |
