I know Marliyn will be whack me upside the head for this, but I am asking a favor of anyone out there. My new laptop has Vista ( ) I tried to load my player into 1.2 but it wouldnt except it. I have 1.3 Reflexive with my player. I had to buy the 1.2 version again! This time I ordered the CD rom as well. As for my 1.2 pogo version, I know if there is a way to put my player into it, but I cant figure out how! I guess I am asking 2 questions here, 1) Can anyone help me get my player into any version of 1.2 with vista. 2) Does anyone have a 1.3 registration key they can help me out with? I treid 3 different companys for 1.2 and can't get any of them to work. I went to the other site for help, but couldnt figure anything out there either. I need help.

Hi, Cliff - I have VISTA, and I have also moved a BFG version 1.3 into a Pogo 1.2 game, so maybe I can help - the Player file in Vista is located in a very tricky spot. Here's where you can find it (it's actually in 2 different spots - the bane of Vista - but this is the one where you want to move it to):
Click on Computer Icon (on your desktop) Click "Owner" then "AppData" "Local" "VirtualStore" "Program Files" "Oberon Media" Then you should see Mahjong Towers Eternity and the Player sub-directory. Just do NOT forgot to get into Oberon Media. If you have another 1.3 version, you'll also see a "Mahjong Towers Eternity" under "Program Files" - but if you want to get into the POGO version - you HAVE to click on the "OBERON MEDIA" first to get to the proper version.
To transfer your 1.3 player file - copy it from 1.3, then move and replace it into the Pogo (OBERON MEDIA) file. If you purchased the game from Pogo, along with the disk, they should have emailed you a registration key code number to use to get into the game to unlock it. If you didn't get one from them, I would email them and ask them to send you one so you can get into it.
If these steps do not help with your Vista problem, please let me know. I can post the screen shots on how I loaded my 1.3 player into my 1.2 Pogo version. Hope this helps!

I had my tech guy at work read the thread, and with in 30 seconds he had my player file at hand..........and after cusing out for the next 30 seconds, he created a shortcut on my desktop so dont have to search for it. Thanks guys. Now at least I can get my PMs to my player, as I don't really play anymore.

Hi Chrissie! You should be able to load the game onto your Vista laptop fine. It is when you have to start looking for your player files etc that the differences come in. Since you do not bump layouts, have you tried to just re-download it from BFG? There may be a problem with the way you copies the whole game onto the jump drive. I've never transferred the game onto another puter that way, I've always either Downloaded from the net or from the CD I have. Let me know how you do, Karma Hug to you!

BFG has their new game console thing that they'll want you to use and you may need to get a new activation code from them, sometimes your old activation code won't work. I'll email you the link to 1.2 I have and you can see if that works.
